Our story

My name is Louis Lattuca, the Founder of Lattuca Invest.

It all began during the 2008 financial crash. I always had a keen eye on property and decided that working 12 hours a day, 6 days a week wasn't going to be for me. Having saved some money through my job as a personal trainer, I decided to purchase my first property in the Bedford area in 2009. I knew absolutely nothing and made many mistakes. I paid way too much for the refurbishment works, could have negotiated the property better, had a poor solicitor, and got a pretty lousy mortgage product. What can I say? I was a 19-year-old novice!

I paid 150k for that property, and within a year, it was revalued at 240k! So, I thought, I should buy another in the same area and so on. Using some earnings and some leverage, I started to develop a real understanding of the game and build a strong network of good, honest, reliable people.

Fast forward a few years, and I had attended countless property seminars, courses, trips to different parts of the country to meet "property sourcing agents," and auctions. But I never felt it was right for me to invest this way. Agents/companies seemed shady, areas were run-down and selling cheap, poor-quality stock in rough areas (many up north), and when it came to finding a decent deal, the refurbishment costs killed my yield! So, I thought, I can do this myself and create a sustainable, fair, trusting model for everyone to prosper.

After a year of solid research, I based myself in the hugely popular South Wales area, as I could see a big opportunity for property investing and growth. I now have a large network in the area for property sourcing, reasonably priced refurbishments, outsourced high-quality letting agents, and ongoing maintenance of clients' properties.

My aim is to build a strong relationship with my clients and help them build a property portfolio that suits their short or long-term goals.
